Lea Frühwirth is a psychologist and a senior researcher for disinformation at CeMAS. She focuses on the impact of digital discourse on society and politics, especially on the mechanisms and modes of operation of manipulative content. Her research areas in the field of disinformation include both the development of innovative approaches for early detection of illegitimate influence and the strengthening of comprehensive societal protection and containment strategies.
